What is the Average Salary for a CompTIA A+ Technician?
The current average salary for Tech Professionals holding the CompTIA A+ Certification and employed in one of the above roles is £22,000 with a minimum of £18,000 and a maximum of £28,000.
Students enrolled with the Nuyew Tech Academy then progress onto the intermediate CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ Certifications before choosing an advanced Cyber Security, Cloud Networking or Data Analysis Certification. The average salary for these more advanced roles is obviously far higher with Cyber Security providing the largest Average Salary of £72,500 for experienced Tech Professionals.
What will I learn?
Identifying, using, and connecting hardware components and devices, including the broad knowledge about different devices that is now necessary to support the remote workforce.
Install and support Windows OS including command line & client support. System configuration imaging and troubleshooting for Mac OS, Chrome OS, Android and Linux OS.
Troubleshoot PC and mobile device issues including common OS, malware and security issues.
Explain types of networks and connections including TCP/IP, WIFI and SOHO.
Troubleshoot real-world device and network issues quickly and efficiently.
Identify and protect against security vulnerabilities for devices and their network connections.
Install & configure laptops and other mobile devices and support applications to ensure connectivity for end- users.

Compare & contrast cloud computing concepts & set up client-side virtualisation.
Follow best practices for safety, environmental impacts, and communication and professionalism.
How long does it take?
As a guide, Students who can allocate 10 hours per week to studying tend to complete the initial CompTIA ITF+ (Foundations) and CompTIA A+ Certifications within 2 to 3 months.
